The landlord found her body and called police.
The Frederick County Bureau of Investigation is looking into the death of a Frederick woman whose body was found Sunday evening.
"Approximately 10:02 p.m. on Sunday, March 4th, units from the Department of Fire and Rescue, specifically, Myersville and Sheriff's Deputies were dispatched to 2525 Scravel Road, in Myersville, for a report of a deceased person, in an apartment at that residence," said Captain Tim Clark. Fire and Rescue Units arrived and confirmed the presence of a deceased female and then the sheriff's office secured the scene."
Captain Clark said the landlord found the woman dead and called police.
"The body was taken to the Maryland State Medical Examiner's Office in Baltimore for an autopsy to determine how 48 year old Connie Sue Bishop died, and the manner of her death," Clark said.
The investigation is continuing.
