Frederick Man Captured For Theft From Construction Sites

He stole over $50,000 worth of metals from construction sites throughout the city.

A 36 year old Frederick man was arrested for stealing over $50,000 worth of metals from construction sites throughout the city.

William Pierce was wanted for taking aluminum wall forms, which are used to build foundation walls in the construction of new homes and buildings. A warrant was issued on Saturday for his arrest and he was captured on Monday.

He admitted to stealing from Greystone Foundations, Great Eastern Concrete and Compass Concrete between January and February.

Pierce is charged with four counts of theft, one count of theft scheme and conspiracy.
