A Pennsylvania man was arrested in Frederick on Saturday for leaving his child unattended in a motor vehicle. Police say Dustin Everett Ogan was taken into custody outside of the Walmart on Monocacy Boulevard.

Officers responded to the scene after citizens complained about a child unattended and locked inside of a vehicle. They found a two-year-old sleeping in the car seat.

Walmart made an announcement over its P.A. system, asking the owner to return to his car.  Ogan went outside and that's when he was charged with leaving a child under eight years of age locked inside a motor vehicle while he was absent.
