Frederick County's Board of Elections has a need for individuals to serve as standby election judges on Primary Election Day, April 3rd. These judges must be willing to work anywhere in Frederick County.
Judges must be registered voters in the state of Maryland, and at least 17 years of age. They must be able to speak, read and write the English language, and while acting as a judge must not hold or be a candidate for public or party office.
Standby judges must be available by telephone on election day from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m., and will be paid $50. If they are called to serve on election day at the polling place, they are paid a minimum of $125. Training will be providided prior to the election.
