Fire heavily damaged a home built in the 19th century on Wednesday afternoon.

Fire fighters were dispatched to the 9800 block of Hall Road, east of Frederick, and found the home fully involved in flames. They took 15-minutes to bring the fire under control. No one was hurt, and there was no one inside the house at the time.

Investigators say the fire originated in the first floor, and the cause was electrical in nature.
