A team of Japanese student drummers headlines a Cherry-Blossom event in Frederick's Baker Park.

The Yamakiya Taiko Club from Fukushima , Japan, is scheduled to perform Sunday afternoon.

The 13 students range in age from 12 to 20. They are from the area affected by high radiation levels from the failed Fukushima Dai-ichi Nuclear Power Plant.

The team is also scheduled to perform at the Kennedy Center in Washington Monday.

The Frederick event includes a ceremonial tree planting to mark the 100th anniversary of Japan's gift of Cherry Blossom trees to the Nation's Capital.
