Hagerstown Police arrested two men and charged them with first and second degree assault, reckless endangerment and discharging a firearm after officers responding to a shots fired call located a shell casing and a small amount of blood on the sidewalk in the first block of East Lee Street Wednesday. Investigators said Badia Giancarlos and Eric Baymon apparently were involved in a drug transaction that went bad, and struggled over the gun, which resulted in it discharging.

Police said both sustained minor injuries.
