Maryland State Police said they are searching for a 65-year-old man with medical problems who was last seen on a scooter Tuesday afternoon in Halfway.

Gerald “Butch” Stine was last seen at 1 p.m. Tuesday on a bluish-green scooter with a basket on the front at Halfway Boulevard and Oak Ridge Drive, according to a state police news release.

Stine is a white male who stands 5-feet, 11-inches tall and weighs 195 pounds, the release said. He has black/gray hair and was wearing blue jeans and a dark-blue shirt.

Troopers said Stine needs to be found because he has several medical issues.
