The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office invites the public to join them in celebrating their 175th anniversary, from 11am to 3pm, Saturday, May 5th.

To acknowledge this significant milestone, Sheriff’s Office personnel will staff several displays with information on DARE, Fraud and their Crime Scene Unit. A Police Bicycle Instructor and K-9 Team will also provide demonstrations of tactics. The Detention Center has also scheduled public tours at 1pm and a second at 2pm Saturday.

Scheduled activities commemorating the 175th Anniversary will begin at 11am on the Sheriff’s Office parking lot located at 100 North Court Street in Westminster.

In the event of inclement weather, a rain date is scheduled for June 2nd.
