An armed robbery occurred early Saturday morning at the 7/11 at 313 South Jefferson street in Frederick.

Police say at around 4:52 AM, the clerk on duty reported that the store had been held up by a man armed with a handgun. The suspect is described as an African-American male, with a gray hooded jacket and a mask over his face.
