Two men have been charged with theft for allegedly stealing metal. Robert Anthony Disney, 52, of Brunswick, and Jerome Lamonte Weedon, 49, of Frederick, were arrested on Monday in the 500 block of East Church Street. Frederick Police say the truck the two were in contained numerous items of metal.

The victim told officers that he observed the two taking these items from his fenced-in property, and loading them into a truck. The victim followed the truck after the two men left.   An officer pulled it over, and arrested Disney and Weedon.

Both men are charged with theft under $1000.
