There will be one more public fiscal 2013 budget discussion so The Frederick City Board of Alderman can offer admendments to the budget before the final vote. The discusssion is planned for Wednesday, May 17th at 3 p.m. at City Hall.

"We're trying to shoot for next Thursday for approval of the budget. I asked the Alderman to provide me all of their requested admendments to my budget by close of business day on Friday so that myself and the budget director have the opportunity to review them and willing to make any admendents. I will get them back to them by hopefully Wednesday so they have time to review it," Mayor Randy McClement said.

A cost of living increase for Frederick City employees and a savings on property taxes for city residents are planned in the budget for next fiscal year.
