Due to wet conditions and standing water, all City of Frederick baseball and softball fields only are closed this afternoon (Tues). Officials say that includes all city-leased fields and all city school-leased fields.

Violators could face penalties. If permitted users are found to have used a field or court when it is closed, they could face fines and/or loss of the use of the court or field. An unpermitted user could be issued a citation and/or a warning.
