He was flown to Shock Trauma in Baltimore
A Frederick County man was injured Thursday afternoon after jumping out of a moving vehicle.
State Police say Sampach Prak was in a Toyota Siena when he and his wife, Paula Prak, began arguing while the vehicle was traveling westbound on Route 26. Near Crum Road and Israel Creek, Troopers say Sampach Prak allegedly opened the door and leaped out of the vehicle. His head hit the asphalt's white edge line, and he slid into the grassy shoulder. Authorities say there was no contact between Mr. Prak and the Siena, and no other vehicles were involved.
Mr. Prak was taken to Frederick Memorial Hospital, where resuscitation was required. He was flown to Shock Trauma in Baltimore, where he was last listed in critical condition.
The Frederick County Bureau of Investigation responded to the scene, and is conducting a criminal investigation into this incident.
