He will be sentence on July 17th.
A Frederick man was convicted of impersonating a police officer on Thursday and a judge ordered a pre-sentence investigation for Christian Eustace and set sentencing for July 17th.
Back in February, Eustace was inside of the Giant Food store, on New Design Road, wearing a uniform similar to that of Maryland State Police, alleging that he had misplaced $250 while disposing of a white envelope into a Giant Food waste basket. He then searched for the lost money but said he couldn't find it, said authorities. He then contacted the grocery store's manager and demanded to see the store's video surveillance system, police said. When the management denied, Eustace stated that he was a Lieutenant with Maryland State Police, authorities said.
