A Boonsboro man pleaded guilty on Monday for his role in a home invasion robbery,
Anthony McMellen III, 19, was sentenced to three years in prison suspending all but time served since his arrest in November. He is serving time for another conviction in a unrelated case.
McMellen was one of the three men who entered an apartment in November and robbed the home. During the invasion, one of the victims in the home was shot in the foot. McMellen did not shoot the victim and was not in the room of the shooting.
