Frederick City Offices Closed On Memorial Day

Motorists can park for free Monday at the meters & decks.

 

Frederick City Government will be closed on Monday, May 28th in observance of Memorial day.   Offices will reopen as scheduled on Tuesday, May 29th.

There will be no trash collection on May 28th for residents who normally leave out their trash Sunday night to be picked up Monday morning. But in the downtown commercial district from Market Street to South Street, and East Street to Bentz Street, trash will be collected as scheduled.

In addition, there will be no yard waste collection on Monday, May 28th in NAC Area 6.  It will take place on Monday, June 11th.

The William Talley Recreation Center, the Frederick Community Action Agency and the Foodbank will be closed on Monday. But the Soup Kitchen at the FCAA will be open on Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 5:30 PM until 6:30 PM for an evening meal.

Motorists can park for free on Monday at the parking meters and in the parking decks.
