The St. Paul's Youth Ministry in Walkersville is holding a donation drive on June 9th and 10th before taking the items to the families.

Nearly 400 families were displaced by the tornados that destroyed towns in Kentucky and the St. Paul's Youth Ministry in Walkersville is lending a helping hand to them.

Belinda Buriss, the coordinator of the ministry, said they need your help for donations to send to Morgan County, Kentucky.

They are looking for linens, dish towels, small appliances, dishes, utensils, blankets, non-perishable food items, any cooking items, cleaning supplies, towels, band-aids, sunscreen, personal hygiene items, summer toys, diapers, wipes, baby food and formula.

She said they are collecting pet donations as well because the shelter has many more animals since the tornados hit.

The ministry is holding a donation drive on June 9th and 10th before taking the items to the families. The drive will be located at 19 West Pennslyvania Avenue in Walkersville.
