A Westminster man was taken to University of Maryland Shock Trauma in Baltimore Tuesday morning after he was injured while mowing his lawn.
The Carroll County Sheriff's Office says Gilbert Barnes, 73, was on a riding mower when he came upon a hill on his property in the 1300-block of Tannery Hill Road. The mower hit a stump and overturned. Barnes' left leg was pinned under the mower.
