He was arrested a few hours later.
Frederick Police have charged a local man with three counts each of 1st- and 2nd-degree assault, and reckless endangerment following a shots-fired incident Tuesday night. Ryan Breon Watts, 23, is also charged with several handgun offenses and malicious destruction of property.
Officers responded to a home in the 300 block of East 3rd Street at around 10:20 PM on Tuesday, and determined that a bullet had struck a window and entered the house.
Police arrested Watts at his home on Dill Avenue at around 1:23 AM on Wednesday. A handgun believed to have been used in the incident was recovered.
Authorities say Watts was known to the residents of the home, and was at a gathering there earlier in the evening.
