Two people were sent to the hospital.
The Washington County Sheriff's Office is looking for witnesses to a vehicle crash Monday, May 28th at 3:38 PM along the Dual Highway near Interstate 70 in Hagerstown.
Authorities say the accident involved one vehicle which had been traveling at a high rate of speed, and being operated in a reckless manner. The driver was weaving in and out of traffic, tailgating and crossing the center line. It had been operating in this manner for quite some time along Rt. 40 from Frederick, deputies say.
Both the operator and a passenger were taken to Meritus Medical Center for treatment of their injuries.
The vehicle sustained significant damage, and had to be towed from the scene.
