A 16 year old, who lives in the Dearbought development, has been charged with armed robbery and other offenses, after he robbed a 14 year old in the 1800 block of Rivermist Court Thursday.

Frederick Police said the victim suffered a knife wound during a struggle, before the 16 year old took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the area. Officers were able to locate the suspect at his residence a short time later. Investigators said evidence was also recovered.

The 16 year old is charged with armed robbery, robbery, first degree assault, second degree assault, and reckless endangerment.
