It's happening at the Frederick Fairgrounds from 10:00am - 2:00 pm.

The Frederick Fairgrounds is where $1 million of goods and services will be given away, free, to the local community, Saturday, as the Convoy of Hope rolls into town. "Families can bring their kids. It's going to be a kids zone, where they will have these inflatable bounce houses, games and  prizes. We will have a free lunch for everyone that attends. We will give away free groceries and 2,000 pairs of shoes," said Jeff Nene, senior director of public relations, for Convoy of Hope.

In partnership with the National Breast Cancer Foundation, free breast cancer screenings are being offered. This community event is one of dozens of stops along a 50-state, $50 million tour of hope and help for the 46 million Americans currently living in poverty, the largest number on record.

The event is being held from 10:00 a.m. until 2 p.m. at 797 E. Patrick Street.
