Citizens who use Transit Services of Frederick County are invited to speak at a public hearing before the Commissioners on Thursday morning.

The board will be taking citizen comments on proposed fare increases for the Connector and Shuttle Buses which will be phased in. The first phase will raise the fares from $1.10 to $1.25 for a one-way trip by July 30th, 2012. The second phase will increase the fares to $1.50 for a one-way trip on July, 2014. There will also be increases for Transit Plus for medical and other trips.

Residents who want to testify can come to Winchester Hall at 12 East Church Street for the hearing which begins at 10:00 AM.
