The Maryland Wineries Association is bringing more exposure to the state’s 56 licensed wineries with the second annual Maryland Wine Week, June 8 to 17.

The association has formed partnerships with numerous restaurants, wine shops and wine bars to encourage them to have a special event or offering of Maryland Wine during the week, according to the Maryland Wineries Association. Maryland residents and wine lovers can enjoy locally grown wines, paired with their favorite dishes, at events hosted by restaurants and wine shops across the state.

For instance, according to the Maryland Wine Week web site: "Join the Gourmet Goat & GG’s Restaurant in Hagerstown on June 8, June 9, June 15 or June 16 for a special four course paired menu."

Each restaurant has special plans for Maryland Wine Week, please visit the web site for more information!
