The Frederick County Bureau of Investigation is looking into the death of a man who was found this morning on Westview Drive in Frederick. "Just before 8:00 am, the Maryland State Police were dispatched to the area behind the Westview Promenade after a woman discovered the body while she was walking along a bike path," said Cpl. Jennifer Bailey. There was a mowing crew in the area, also, at the time when the body was discovered. "But it was the woman who was walking along the bike path who actually made the call."

The victim is described as a black male wearing a sweat shirt and jeans. "He was found lying face down, and at this point, there are no visible signs of injury." The Frederick County Sheriff's Office Crime Scene Unit and officials with the Chief Medical Examiners Office are on the scene.
