Suspects left behind a purse and a backpack.
The suspects who broke into the Red Tavern in Emmitsburg last month left some things behind.
The Frederick County Bureau of Investigation says the break-in was discovered at around 7:30 AM on May 28th by an employee who found a window had been broken, and some cash missing from the safe.
A backpack and a purse were left outside of the business. The fairy purse contains a brick, which investigators believe was used to smash a window. The blue and black Hurley backpack has a plastic hospital bag that contained shorts, an AC adapter, pens, pencils and a few other items.
Anyone who has information on this incident is asked to call Detective Joseph McCallion at the Bureau of Investigation at 301-600-1022.
