Hall,Robbins Named To Frederick County Planning Commission

They begin their terms on July 1st.

 

William Hall and Dwaine Robbins have been appointed to the Frederick County Planning commission. They begin their five-year terms on July 1st.

The two were interviewed on Thursday by the Commissioners, along with Fern Hines.

The Planning Commission meets the second Wednesday of each month at 9:30 AM, and the third Wednesday of each month at 1:30 PM.

The Commission is an advisory body to the County Commissioners on planing and zoning related issues, including the comprehensive plan, region plans, rezoning, text amendments and water and sewer planning, among other issues. The Planning Commission has the final authority over site plans, subdivision plats, Planned Unit Development Phase II plans, and the determination of  adequate public facilities for new developments.
