Frederick Police are investigating the attempted robbery of the McDonalds restaurant on South Jefferson Street.
It happened on June 28th, shortly before 10:30 p.m., when the suspect entered the establishment, approached the counter and passed a note to an employee, demanding money. Authorities said the employee, after receiving the note, acted confused and appeared to not understand. The suspect became agitated, grabbed the note and left the business with no money. He's described as a white male, and at the time, was wearing a black t-shirt that had a white picture printed on the front.
