Congratulations to the principal of Yellow Springs Elementary School!

Kathy Prichard received a significant honor from the Maryland PTA last Friday. She was named the 2012 Educator Of The Year by the group in a ceremony at its 97th Annual Convention which was held in Timonium.

The award recognizes individuals whose contributions to children are exemplary. It also highlights Prichard's commitment to fostering relationships between parents, schools and the community.
