Proceeds benefit the Patty Pallatos Fund, a non-profit organization that raises money for people in our community who are financially devastated and can no longer work because of a sickness or injury.

The 7th annual Funomenon is taking place on Saturday, August 25th from noon to 6 p.m at the Frederick Fair Grounds to benefit the Patty Pallatos Fund (PPF).

The PPF is a non-profit organization that raises money for people in our community who are financially devastated and can no longer work because of a sickness or injury.
"One hundred percent of the monies that come through that gate go back into the community to help people who are financially devastated because of cancer or heart transplant, lung transplant, kidney or just falling from a ladder or spinal injuries," Debbie Williams with the organization said. "The middle class kind of falls in the gap, if you have a home, if you have a job, certain things then you don't qualify for social services. I think that is wrong so we are going to stand in the gap for them while they can't work to pay not only their medical bills but their rent or mortgage, car payment, utilities, just necessary human needs."

Tickets cost $35 for adults, $10 for kids ages six to thirteen and free for kids under five years old. The cost includes everything for day including Nashville recording artists Sara Evans and Hunter Hayes with Frederick’s own The Shades, bull riding extravaganza, crafts, hot dogs, hamburgers, french fries, bottled water, soft drinks and much more. There will also be a Kids Land section which includes magic shows, pony rides, moon bounce, clowns and face painting.
