The purpose is to repair a railroad crossing.

The State Highway Administration says Keysville Road north of Route 77 in Detour in Carroll County will be closed beginning on Monday, August 20th. That's so that Maryland Midland Railway can make repair to the railroad crossing in the area.

Traffic will be detoured along Route 77 (Middleburg Road), Route 194 (Francis Scott Key Highway) and Sixes Bridge Road.

The repairs are expected to be completed by Friday, August 24th, weather permitting.
