Jogger Finds Body While Out Running In Carroll County

It has been taken to the State Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy.


The investigation is continuing into the circumstances surrounding the death of Baltimore County man. State Police say a jogger out taking a run Tuesday morning along Patapsco Road east of Westminster in Carroll County saw the man's body. It was located about two-tenths of a mile east of Bethel Road, laying on the bank between the roadway and pasture.

The runner went to the home of a nearby resident and called 911.

Carroll County Sheriff's Deputies arrived at the scene, along with EMS personnel. The man identified as Justin A. Ogle, 20, of Elkridge, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators from the State Police Homicide Unit, the Carroll County Sheriff's Office, the Carroll County State's Attorney's Office and  crime scene technicians all responded to the area. The Maryland State Police Helicopter flew investigators over the scene so they could take aerial photographs.

Ogle's body was taken to the State Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy. Investigators say the body shows no signs of trauma.
