They got away with cash.

Two men got away with an undisclosed amount of money following the armed robbery of the Chipotle Mexican Grill in Hagerstown late Sunday night.

Police say the two suspects entered the restaurant at 18,003  Garland Groh Boulevard shortly before midnight through an open door, and forced an employee to open a safe, and take out the money. The pair told the employees to remain on the ground until after they left.  The two fled on foot.

A search using a police canine did not locate the suspects, but authorities determined that the two ran from the rear of the restaurant to the end of the shopping center, and may have possibly gotten into a vehicle.

The two suspects were wearing dark baggy clothes with pillow cases as masks. One was armed with a silver handgun, and the other had a black handgun. They are both males about six-feet tall; their race is unknown, according to police.

Anyone with information on these two suspects is asked to call the Hagerstown Police Department's Criminal Investigation Division at 301-790-3700.
