Young said he answered a reporter's question personally and was not expressing the opinions of the entire Board of County Commissioners.

Frederick County's Ethics Commission decided on Monday that there was no need to investigate whether or not Commissioner's President Blaine Young committed on ethics violation when a reporter asked his opinion on the Affordable Care Act.

Young said he answered the question personally and was not expressing the opinions from the entire Board of Commissioners.

"I basically gave my statement about the displeasure of what the Supreme Court did and the fact that there is still opportunity if you elect the correct people," Young said.

The matter was resolved quickly this week.

"So the Ethics Commission Chair, Hayden Duke, gave me a phone call. I went through everything with him and he told me there was no violation and they were not asking me to take it down but would I be willing to take it down, I said absolutely," Young said.
