Today hundreds of people will be gathering in Frederick to help bring home a local hero who paid the ultimate sacrifice.

On Saturday August 18th, Sgt. David Williams was killed in the line of duty in Afghanistan. At 3:00 p.m. this afternoon he will be brought back to Stauffer Funeral Home.

The Patty Pollatus Fund is asking the community to line the streets around the funeral home with American flags by 2:00 p.m. to honor Sgt. Williams and support his family.

Williams was a 2006 graduate of Urbana High School.
