Lucky Ned Pepper: 11:30 am - 12:45 pm
Former members of the country group Smokin' Armadillos, Rick Russell and Josh Graham join together to form one of the hottest new acts in country music. . . Lucky Ned Pepper. "We’re not traditional country, but we’re country," Graham says of Lucky Ned Pepper’s music. "We’re just right down the middle country. It’s something different. We do have the advantage where we get to jump into a place where we don’t have to start from scratch, but we’re still starting over in a lot of ways."
Bill Gentry: 1:30 - 2:45 pm
Wild and studied. Crazed and responsible. Sinner and saint. Bill Gentry is a lot of things that don’t seem, at first glance, to fit together. A businessman. A club owner. A preacher’s kid. A former politician. And an artist who will not be denied. If those descriptions sound like an odd assortment of current and past lives - well, they are. But they’re also accurate fragments of Gentry, a complicated, driven soul whose personal contrasts are nicely summed up in Baptized In Temptation. His debut album captures both the rowdy party boy and the thoughtful mate, the country stylist and the blues-rocker.
Heidi Newfield: 3:30 - 4:45 pm
Heidi Newfield’s voice and presence in country music first established her as the center stage star of Trick Pony’s emergence in 2001. Her memorable, self-penned solo hit single "Johnny & June" went on to achieve RIAA certified gold status, now having sold of seven hundred thousand singles.
