Two Arrested For Drinking Alcohol In City Park

Two Frederick residents were arrested Friday for consuming alcohol in a city park. Loretta Lynn Bohle, 39, and Craig Steven Jackson, 48, were charged after Police Directed Patrol Unit officers saw them consuming alcoholic beverages in Mullinix Park.

The Police Department says a local ordinance prohibits the consumption of alcohol in city parks.

Authorities say they are committed to addressing quality of life issues in Frederick, and will continue to work with residents to further this goal.
