Take a cultural journey with Indian dances, delicious food and more at the Festival of India Saturday at the William R. Talley Rec Center in Frederick.

"There is going to be a lot of cultural programs. Folk dances, Indian traditional dances as well as some singing and a lot of good Indian food and then henna," Manoj Thakkar, the Treasurer of the Indian Association of Frederick, said.

The event has been held for the past ten years to celebrate and express Indian roots, culture and traditions as well as share the culture with the community.

The festival begins at 6 p.m. and admission is free.
