"Classic Rock Meets Orchestra" at the opening of the 31st season of the Maryland Symphony Orchestra (MSO) on Saturday, September 22nd at 8 p.m.

Tamara Nuzzaci-Park with the MSO said classic hits from Chicago, Earth, Wind & Fire and Blood, Sweat and Tears will be played.

"We are fortunate to bring a group called Jeans 'n Classic. They are a group of about 12 Canadian musicians who are experts in standing in front of an orchestra and playing this more rock music but connecting with the musicians behind them and a conductor in a unique way," Park said.

The show will happen at the Maryland Historic Theatre in Downtown Hagerstown. Tickets range in price from $15 to $49. They can be purchased online or in person at 30 W. Washington Street from 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. For more information, call 301-797-4000.
