A fight in the parking lot of the Brick House Club on Mid Atlantic Parkway in Martinsburg left one man dead after shots were fired early Sunday morning.

Around 2:55 a.m., Berkeley County Sheriff's Department arrived to the scene and found one man shot. He was taken to city hospital where he was pronounced dead. The victim was identifed as Samson Edmond of Mississippi.

Deputies detained and questioned five suspects after a short vehicle chase. The investigation is still continuing pending lab results from the scene.
