Women of all ages can improve their careers and financial futures at the 4th Annual Maryland Women's Conference.
The conference is happening on Friday, November 2nd from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Bishop Claggett Center in Buckeystown. Sharon Dobson is the President of the Frederick County Commission For Women and said the conference is designed to improve the quality of life for women.
"We're looking at financial planning and what you should be aware of. If you're younger and starting to look at retirement, we've got a couple speakers who are financial planners. We have the 10 things women need to know about financial planning," Dobson said.
Workshops will happen through out the day to offer tips on various topics.
We've got a panel on women and business, how to start a business and what kind of challenges do you face in Frederick County as a woman owned business," Dobson said.
The cost is $50 and includes breakfast and lunch. To register, go to www.mdwomensconference.org or call (301) 600-1066
