Flood Warning For Frederick County Expires

But some roads still remained closed due to high water.

 

The National Weather Service say the Flood Warning for Frederick County for small streams has expired, but motorists are still urged to be cautious when it come to flooded roads.

Even though the waters are receding, emergency officials say some roads near the Monocacy River remain closed. Frederick County Highway Operations says Michaels Mill Road between Rt. 80 and Rt. 85 in Adamstown remains  closed due to high water.

Frederick County and surrounding regions were pummeled on Tuesday by heavy rains, which closed a number of roads.  Most have reopened.
