Police said a man was stabbed in the upper torso Thursday night in Hagerstown. When officers responded and located the victim, it was later determined that the injuries were non life threatening. However, after he was transported to Meritus Medical Center the man told police he had been stabbed by an unknown black male in the 100 block of North Prospect. It was unclear what led to the stabbing. The investigation is continuing.
