Necropsy Technician (256290)

The Necropsy Technician will assist pathologists in the Division of. The successful candidate will perform independent tissue collections on submitted cases. Some specific tasks will be: Prepares the instruments and other materials necessary to conduct necropsies; Dissects, or assists with the dissection of laboratory animals; Prepares preliminary record of findings using appropriate pathological terminology; Other duties as assigned.

Program Manager (256296)

The Program Manager will provide professional level administrative support and will be able to accomplish the following tasks with little guidance and with a high level of competency for the Division of Medicine to include the following tasks: fiscal management and logistics, preparing plans for scheduling, and preparing and delivering briefings and other preparations; providing computer based program management, develop and maintain databases and files, as required, and other duties as assigned.

Administrative Assistant-Virology (256298)

The Administrative Assistant for the Virology Division will conduct the following responsibilities and tasks: Primary responsibility for preparing paperwork associated with equipment quotations and purchase request; Assist with ordering and tracking of equipment for BSL-4, 3, and 2 laboratories with Virology team efforts; Track and maintain an inventory control of supplies and reagents for projected animal studies and secondary assays in order to better maintain available stock rotations.

The job tip of the week deals with electronic resumes. "Many people are required to send electronic resumes now. There's lots of different ways to do that, but it's important for folks to know that electronic resumes are read by scanners. We have classes to help you make that resume look readable for scanners," said Holden.
