Two People Injured In Carroll County Crash

One was flown to Shock Trauma.

 

A Littlestown, Pennsylvania man was flown to University of  Maryland Shock Trauma in Baltimore on Tuesday afternoon following a crash in the Westminster area.

The Carroll County Sheriff's Office says Jonathan Sweitzer, 30, was operating a Chevrolet station wagon which left Black Schoolhouse Road and struck a house. A passenger in the vehicle, Jared Smith, 29, of Babylon Road in Taneytown, was taken to Carroll Hospital Center with non-life threatening injuries.
