State Police say there was a message about a bomb; nothing was found.
Maryland State Police responded to a suspicious condition Wednesday afternoon at the Sam's Club at 5604 Buckeystown Pike in Frederick.
Troopers say an employee discovered a message written on a bathroom stall indicating there was a bomb. It did not have any specifics as to where the explosive was located, or when it would go off. Also, there was no indication how long the message had been there. It was written in a location that was visible from a very low position.
As a precaution, State Police brought in a bomb-sniffing dog to help in a search of all the bathrooms. Nothing was found, and Sam's Club resumed normal operations, authorities say.
