One person was stabbed near McCurdy Field in Frederick late Thursday night.

Police say a man is 40's told officers he had a night on the town with his girlfriend, and both were walking in the 5900 block of Clear Brook Court. He got into a dispute with another man, and was stabbed several times on the left side of his body.

The victim was flown to Shock Trauma in Baltimore where he's listed in stable condition, according to a news release from the Frederick Police.

Investigators say the suspect drove off in a silver-colored vehicle in an unknown direction.
