A fight outside a bar in downtown Frederick resulted in a damascus man being arrested early saturday morning. Police said it all went down hill when a group of people got involved in an altercation in the 100 block of North Market Street. When officers arrived at the scene, Kevin Carpenter was seen punching another individual in the mouth. He attempted to strike the victim a second time, but the police stopped him, authorities said. Carpenter was then taken into custody without incident.
