Software Developer (257218)

Frederick based employer is seeking two (2) Software Developers - one will be a Junior Software Developer. Must have a minimum 2 years of relevant experience. Will be responsible for (1) Load Testing - Loadrunner Load testing software for web based java applications; (2) Regression Testing - Selenium Tester to regression test web based java applications; and (3) Java/J2EE programming - Java, J2EE, Spring, Struts, Hibernate . All of the work is done in a LINUX environment. This is a full-time position, and some travel is required.

 

Distribution Inserter (256731)

The Distribution Inserter is primarily responsible for the preparation of any given edition of the newspaper prior to distribution for carrier delivery. Majority of time is devoted to feeding insert packages into the inserting machine. Seeking responsible individuals who have a very flexible schedule and can work from 20-30 hours a week.

Bookkeeper (256710)

The Bookkeeper will be responsible for oversight and review of daily accounting, finance, risk management, and payroll/human resource functions, including the establishment, reporting and documentation of proper financial and other internal controls; and participation in organizational budgeting and planning. Must be proficient with QuickBooks and managing database and other reports.

Children’s Ministry Director (256581)

The Director is responsible for direct child care and the development and management of all children's programming for children from six weeks through 17 years of age. He/she will oversee the development of lesson plans and activities that are appropriate for the developmental stages of infants and preschool children; establish and implement school aged structured programs which include summer/days off/ and after school program and activities; and much more.

CMM Programmer Operator (257158)

Manufacturer is seeking candidates with ability to develop programs for CMM inspection of complex mechanical parts, as well as operate manual and automated CMM's, perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting. Experience and thorough knowledge of CMM operations and functions required. ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) or Certified Quality Technician (CQT) is desirable.
Knowledge of TIP QA, Deltec, Geomagic and VisualFair is also a plus.

Social Worker Manager (256777)
Long term care facility in Frederick is seeking experienced Social Worker to Manage a team supporting the needs of Long Term Care / Skilled Nursing patients and families by identifying and resolving or ameliorating needs; facilitating discharge; contributing to the healthcare team's effectiveness. LCSW-C Preferred.

Labor, Mason Assistant (256400)

General Labor needed for busy hardscape contractor. Assist Mason with projects by moving materials, assist with construction of features according to plans. Mix mortar and assist with application. Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using computer; Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards; Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.

Biological Science Technician- Bacteriology (Lab Tech 5) (257205)

Technician needed for Ft. Detrick position to conduct the following duites and more as assigned:

Perform routine immunological, microbiological, and molecular biological techniques; Be able to prepare biological samples for assay of antibiotics and be able to prepare reagents and solvents for HPLC separations; Prepare antibiotics and vaccines for administration to animals in support of therapeutic experiments.

Laboratory Technician 6 Bacteriology (257211)

Able to prepare and analyze biological samples using molecular biology techniques; Perform microbiological tasks with viable Bacillus anthracis spores and cells; Work in close coordination with other government contractors and government employees

The job tip of the week deals with electronic resumes. "Many people are required to send electronic resumes now. There's lots of different ways to do that, but it's important for folks to know that electronic resumes are read by scanners. We have classes to help you make that resume look readable for scanners," said Holden.
